CMHI & HAWC Snowshoe Walk/Guided Walk
The Community Mental Health Initiative in partnership with Hiking Adventures on the West Coast will be having a guided walk enjoying the beauty of nature. Registration is required and admission is FREE. Meet at Crocker’s Road for the 3K walk into the stopping point. Snowshoes are not required. Hot Chocolate and Snacks will be provided. Who Let the Dogs Out?
Corner Brook Regional High., 12 University Drive. Bring your dog to an afternoon of activities: a parade, fun competitions, and social time! Dogs must be leashed and accompanied by a human. Please pre-register at cornerbrookwintercarnival.ca as space is limited. Cost of registration is $5.00 per dog and one adult. Admission for other attendees is $3.00 or free with Carnival Button. The Backlot, 20 University Drive. Free Admission. Join artists from L.A.W.N. at this Makers Space to explore ways of creating art for Winter gardens. Art supplies will be provided so all you need is your imagination.

Board Game Afternoon
Join us for an afternoon of board games at the Center For Research and Innovation on Mill Road. Games and light snacks provided! While we have a selection of games on hand, please feel free to bring your own. .

Cookie Decorating with Colemans
This one’s for the kids! Celebrate Winter Carnival with a sweet treat! Join us for a fun-filled workshop on how to decorate a cookie like a pro. Learn new techniques, such as how to use a piping bag, and let your creativity shine. The best part? Tim Hortons & C.B.W.C. present the 18th Annual Leifling Gala
Sacred Heart Elementary, 473 Curling St. Open to all children who attend primary and elementary grades in Corner Brook. The judges will be looking for an individual who is spirited, loves winter, people and Winter Carnival. Each participant will be required to create their own Viking outfit: sword, shield, helmet and costume. Let your imagination run wild. To register, call Sandra and Dave Elms at 709-632-6045. Royal Canadian Legion, West Street. $10.00 per person. Did COVID isolation make or break our contestants’ relationships. One of the funniest events of Carnival and will show how well our couples know each other. You won’t want to miss this and come early to get a good seat.
