Royal Canadian Legion, 7 West Street. Breakfast includes: Eggs, ham and sausage, pancakes, toast, tea, coffee or juice. Cost $8.00 with button, $8.50 without button, $5.00 for children under 12.

Carnival Soup Luncheon
St John the Evangelist ACW, 25 Main Street. Cost: $8.00 per person. Homemade soup with crusty bread, pie and ice-cream. Come join us and bring your friends. Everyone Welcome.

Winter Warm Up Soup Luncheon
Violence Prevention West, in partnership with the Aids Committee of NL, are hosting a soup luncheon at Club 64. Featuring a selection of delicious soups, rolls, desserts, tea/coffee. Come out to enjoy good food, good company and an opportunity to learn more about violence prevention, harm reduction, and the programs and services offered by the host organizations and other community-based organizations in the Corner Brook/Bay of Islands area. Location is Club 64Cost is $4.00 with Carnival button, $5.00 without, Children under 10 are free.

Seniors Merchandise Bingo
The Valley Mall, Cost: Free Admission with Carnival Button. All seniors welcome. Tea/Coffee and Cookies will be served. Sponsored by the Valley Mall and the Corner Brook Winter Carnival Committee.

5 pm to 8 pm. 
Jumbo Buffet
Jennifer’s, 48-50 Broadway. Buffet includes 8 cold salads, 16 hot entrees and 10 assorted desserts. $14.99 per person.

7 pm
Annual Spelling Bee
Immaculate Heart of Mary School. The students from all our elementary schools grade 4,5 & 6 compete to determine who can make it to the end without making a spelling error. You will find yourself on the edge of your seat as these children spell out the most difficult words. Don’t miss this SPELL bounding event. Donations for the food bank will be accepted at the door.

9:30 pm
Flynn’s Pub
Put on your dancing shoes! Dave McHugh live at Flynn’s Pub. All proceeds will be donated to Syrian families. The cost is a minimum of $5.00.
