At the Salvation Army Temple - O'Connell Drive. Traditional Jiggs Dinner including Peas Pudding, dessert, tea/coffee. Sponsored by the Salvation Army Temple Home League. Cost: $10.00 per person.

Swim into Synchro - Corner Brook Reflections Synchro Club
Arts and Culture Centre Pool. Come see and try Synchronized swimming. Join club members as they perform intricate figures and stunts in the pool to music. Lots of fun for girls and boys of all ages. To register or for more info call 634-4716.

9th Annual Winter Carnival Idol
Corner Brook Regional High School. This is an event you won't want to miss. Every year students from Corner Brook Regional High School amaze the audience with their talents. Watch as our judges critique and decide who will be Winter Carnival Idol 2012. Admission Adults: $5.00 with a button ($6.00 without); Students or Children: $2.00 with a button ($3.00 without).

Winter Carnival's Friendly Family Feud
Backlot, Grenfell Campus, Memorial University. Cost Adult: $6 with Carnival Button, $7 without; Come out for an evening of fun when the Western Health Paramedics and the RNC go head to head for bragging fights. Proceeds from the event will go to the charity of the winner's choice. Tickets are available in advance at the Carnival office or at the door. (19+ event)
