Super Demo Days
This is your chance to take the latest ski and snowboard gear out for a test run where it matters most... on the snow! For three consecutive days, Marble Mountain will host reps from Burton, Head, Rossignol, Salomon and Magine, a local snowboard manufacturer. Demos are free, but most suppliers will require a credit card before they let you take the gear out on the mountain.

Lip Sync Contest
At Union Station. Come and enjoy Corner Brook's youth imitate their favorite stars. Watch all ages compete for the top spot of stardom. Our youth ambassadors will be on hand to judge this event. This event is sponsored by the Silver Blades Skating Club. Cost is $2.00 with Carnival Button or $3.00 without.

Carnival Chili Dinner
with apple crisp and ice cream. Hosted by First United Church Women at St. John the Evangelist Church Hall, Main Street. Cost: $8.00 for adult and $4.00 for children 12 and under. Tickets available from UCW members or at the door or by calling 634-5301 *please note change of venue this year.

Seniors RNC Bowling Roll Off

Bell Aliant Family Fun Day in the Park
Bundle up in your warmest winter clothes and join us for Carnival's Best Family Day Event - "Family Fun Day in the Park!" We'll have plenty of games, hot chocolate to keep you warm, and treats that'll keep you coming back for more! Musical entertainment is guaranteed to engage and captivate kids of all ages. Admission is free. Families are encouraged to donate a food bank item at the entrance. Hope to see you there!

Bell Aliant Snow Sculpture and Snowman Building Contest
At Margaret Bowater Park - Bell Aliant will award prizes for the best dressed snowman and the most creative snow sculpture. Register from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm, and have your families entry judged at 4:00 pm to find out if you are Carnival's Best Snow Builder.

3:00 to 4:00 pm
Family Skating
Kinsmen Arena, Pepsi Centre. Admission: Free! Bend over and lace up those skates. Have fun with one of the 4 main sports that was celebrated in the first winter carnival. The Corner Brook Winter Carnival committee is pleased to bring you free ice time.

All Hallows Church Basement, Humber Road (4-5 Takeout, 5-7 Eat in). Cost: $10.00 per person. Enjoy a delicious cabbage roll dinner with vegetables, dessert and tea or coffee. Tickets are available at the door. All are welcome. Sponsored by Holy Redeemer parish.

Hot Roast Beef Dinner
All Saints Anglican Church Hall, 44 Clarence Street. Cost: $12.00 per adult. Come along for a delicious roast beef dinner. Tickets are available from the Church office (634-6963). They sell quickly so call today.

Rusty Cup Challenge
Pepsi Centre. Come out and enjoy watching our local RNC and teachers from Corner Brook High dust off their skates to once again compete for the Rusty Cup all for the benefit of a local charity, and of course bragging rights. Admission is a $3.00 minimum donation and all proceeds go towards local charity.

Kinsmen Club of Corner Brook Winter Carnival Variety Show
Corner Brook Arts & Culture Center. Cost: $10.00 (with Carnival Button) Join the Kinsmen Club of Corner Brook as they present a night of comedy, music and dance for all ages.
