19th Annual Winter Carnival Craft & Gift Fair
The Civic Centre, Main Box office entrance. Come out to the finest of craft fairs featuring over 80 vendors. With homemade fine crafts and gift ideas along with the Kids Corner where kids can decorate a cookie free of charge as well as a free Scavenger Hunt. CARNIVAL CAPER (ESCAPE ROOM)
Someone is stealing important Corner Brook artifacts, and it’s up to you and your friends to solve the case! The Carnival Caper has been taunting the people of Corner Brook all throughout the months of January and February, and the evidence has been gathered at the public library. If you and 3 of your friends can solve the puzzles left behind by the caper in the 30 minute time limit, you might just be able to point the finger at some very prominent Corner Brook Citizens! The Carnival Caper is a brand new Escape Room experience put together by TNL’s Sara…h McDonald Youth Theatre stagecraft students with the help of their instructor Sarah White. Teams must have 4 people, and players under 13 be accompanied by an adult. Cost $40 per team. To book your spot call 639-7238 by 4 pm Friday, Feb. 16, 2018. Chili Lunch Cook Off
Come to Margaret Bowater Park for the 10th Annual Chili Fiesta! Tempt your taste buds with a wide variety of Chili prepared by local chefs for your judging pleasure. You can sample Chili at each booth and vote for your favorite. Come and take part in this great event that will include live local music. Village Music, 88 Broadway. Free admission. Village Music is hosting an Open Jam for all types and styles of music. Bring your own guitar, accordion or tuba and we will supply the drums, PA, microphone, etc. It is a great way for seasoned players and novice players to mix and mingle.

The event features a series of races where horses advance to the finish line on a giant floor board determined by a wheel of chance. Six betting windows operated with a computer odds making system.
