2nd Annual Cook’s Quest Bobsled Event
The 2nd Annual Cook’s Quest Homemade Bobsled Race was a success!! No record breaking speeds, but a good time had by everyone involved. The organizers would like to thank all the participants for their very impressive and creative bobsleds, the large crowd who came out to support the event and cheer on the racers and our MC, Lenny Benoit, for using his humor to get some of the sleds across the finish line. The organizers would also like to thank the City of Corner Brook, Rugged Edge and Greenwood Inn & Suites for supporting the event again this year.
A big Congratulations to the Rhum Runners for defending their title and winning 1st place again this year!! They had some good competition with the 2nd place team, D.C. Hotrods (Western NL Auto Club / Western Knights) only seconds behind. The Lead Express (Academy Canada) was the recipient of the Rugged Edge Most Creative Bobsled Award.
